Keith Lewis has been making jewelry for over 30 years. Growing up in Europe and the Far East, he was enthralled with jewelry at an early age. He learned to cut gems in South Korea at a lapidary shop when he was twelve and to cast and construct jewelry shortly after that. His formal education was in Art at several universities, finishing with a Masters of Fine Arts in Goldsmithing from SUNY New Paltz in New York.
His kinetic jewelry features simple shape in a movable format. Nearly every piece is handmade to enhance this movement; an earwire allows a shape to rotate, a connector will swivel, a loop will act as a hinge.
