What I love about Valerie's Gallery is the variety of fine American craftwork, mostly from local artists. I own two of these beautiful heart-shaped glasses made in MA. This one hangs right above our kitchen-sink window, overlooking the marsh. It's so pretty, one can almost ignore the dirty dishes! :)

My husband and I love collecting Matthew Smith prints! By clustering a few frames on the mantel as well as on the wall, we've created a charming sea-life theme. Beautiful. Simple. Elegant.

On a magical evening after my first date with my now husband Jim, I found a feather stuck to my sweater. Nine years later, I have kept that feather (as well as Jim :). Today, it is encased in glass, along with a sprinkling of heart charms cast in pewter by Vilmain. Again, Valerie's personal service and special ordering helped me make a simple treasure into one of my most precious keepsakes.

Pewter photo stand and two paperweights--I'm so happy that Valerie sells the elegant Vilmain pewters. You can even make special orders through her store. I have a collection of Vilmain paperweights and they are the first to greet me as I open my desk-hutch. With such whimsical, inspiring and functional design, I call them my "mini-gallery" for the home office.
